Local police to televise crimes "on-demand"

Several local law enforcement agencies are teaming up with Comcast and Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to help locate fugitives.

Digital cable customers can use Comcast's On Demand service to tune in to cold crime cases.

"Police Blotter on Demand" features photos and short descriptions of 10 different Twin Cities cold cases.

These segments can be found under the "Get Local" tab on the On Demand main menu. There's no extra charge.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota receives viewer tips and promptly gets them to the assigned case detective, in hopes of solving difficult cases.

The program began last month and will be regularly updated.
