Midway through Minnesota's road construction season, state transportation leaders are assessing how much weight federal stimulus money has had.

Top officials are holding a news conference Wednesday afternoon to discuss the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
So far, a half-billion dollars in stimulus money has been plugged into Minnesota road and bridge construction.
Among those planning to attend are the leaders of the state Legislature's transportation committees, Transportation Commissioner Tom Sorel and Congressman Jim Oberstar.
