A tornado has been spotted by law enforcement officers in St. Croix County, Wis. The National Weather Service says it was spotted about 4 p.m. one mile west of the small town of Emerald and was moving north at about 30 mph.
A tornado warning is in effect for parts of St. Croix county, Pierce County and Dunn County in west-central Wisconsin until 4:30 p.m. The weather service issues a warning when strong rotation has been detected in the storm.
