Two injured in small plane crash north of Twin Cities

A small plane crashed Thursday evening north of the Twin Cities, injuring two people on board.

The FAA says three people were on board the 1967 aircraft, which suffered extensive damage in the crash in Oxford Township near Stacy. It wasn't immediately clear if the third person was injured.

Allina Ambulance says two people suffered serious injuries in the crash and were flown by helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
