CalSpa has been selling hot tubs at the Minnesota state fair for 18 years.

Hot tubs are a staple of other state fairs, but CalSpa claims the Minnesota State Fair has the largest display of hot tubs in North America. The company markets to customers who are thinking about the onset of fall and wanting to invest in a warm winter activity.

The State Fair is also a good place to snag couples who wouldn't otherwise drive to a hot tub show room. The company says it sells 400 to 500 hot tubs a year at the fair -- nearly one-third of their yearly business.

Some of the 36 models featured this year include stereos. One even has hydraulic-powered 42 inch plasma screen TV that raises up out of the side of the tub.
