St. Cloud school closed after burglary

A burglar ransacked a St. Cloud school early this morning, leading officials to close the school for the day.

A maintenance worker at Roosevelt School encountered a young man running from the school at about 6 a.m. today.

Administrators decided to close the school for the day, citing the "large mess inside of the school."

Roosevelt School is an early childhood and special needs school for District 742.

The St. Cloud Police Department continues to investigate the burglary.
