Wis. warden tipped off by Facebook to alleged poachers

Wisconsin wardens used a Facebook video to track down two alleged poachers.

Wardens got a tip late last year that a video entitled "Hunting ... Muktown style" was on Facebook. State Department of Natural Resources Warden Rick Reed says the video showed 25-year-old Adam Frame of Mukwonago and 24-year-old Dustin Porter of Sullivan shining and shooting at deer in the town of Mukwonago in 2007. No deer were hit.

Frame pleaded guilty to shining animals and possessing a firearm in August. He was ordered to pay $314 in forfeitures or spend six days in jail.

Porter faces a misdemeanor count of shining animals. His case is still pending in Waukesha County Circuit Court. Online court records did not list an attorney for him.
