The Minnesota Twins begin a pivotal three game series tonight against the Detroit Tigers at the Metrodome. The Tigers are in first place in the American League Central Division and the Twins are four games behind in second place. If the Twins sweep the series, they will be just one game out of first place with 13 games left to play, including four more against the Tigers. Minnesota Public Radio producer Jim Bickal previews the series.
