Pawlenty to speak at more GOP events

Pawlenty is Washington D.C. Friday evening to speak to the Values Voter Summit. The group is a gathering of pro-family advocates organized by the Family Research Council.

Pawlenty said his message will focus on the values of society.

"It'll kind of run the gamut, from things like making sure we remind people about the importance of the Constitution and the values that led to the framers to put together those principles and values," he said.

Pawlenty's name will be also included in a 2012 presidential straw poll of the group's members. He's considered to be a possible candidate for president in 2012 but says he isn't sure what his future holds.

Pawlenty travels to Ohio on Saturday to speak to the Ohio Republican Party.

Pawlenty is also scheduled to speak to South Dakota Republicans next month. He will deliver the keynote speech at their party's annual state dinner on Oct. 2 in Rapid City, S.D.
