Tickets are now available for the Museum of Broadcasting's 2009 Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony in Golden Valley.
Eleven new members - one of them a husband-and-wife team - are being inducted this year into the Hall of Fame. They include Steve Edelman and Sharon Anderson Edelman, who hosted the daytime television show "Good Company" on KSTP-TV for years; KARE-TV anchor Diana Pierce; and veteran Twin Cities broadcaster Stan Turner.
The gala will be held Oct. 10 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. Comedian Louie Anderson and KSTP-TV anchor Cyndy Brucato will host.
The Museum of Broadcasting houses the Joseph R. Pavek Collection of antique radio, television and broadcasting equipment in St. Louis Park.
