Sister: Missing NW Minn. woman's body found in car

The sister of a Thief River Falls woman who had been missing for nearly a year says her body has been found inside a car that authorities pulled from a river in her hometown.

Jackie Pagel says authorities gave her the news Wednesday afternoon.

Gina Lin Anderson had last been seen Oct. 23, 2008. The 33-year-old left home without her purse or anti-seizure medication.

Officers searching the drawn-down Red Lake River in Thief River Falls found Anderson's 2002 Pontiac Sunfire on Wednesday afternoon and took it to the city shop for processing.

Pagel says authorities are still investigating the cause of the death, but that they believe she suffered a seizure while driving.
