Def Leppard cancels St. Paul show

Metal band Def Leppard says it's canceling the third leg of its North American tour, including a planned stop at the Xcel Energy in St. Paul on Nov. 6.

The band says in a statement that it's canceling due to unforeseen personal matters. The band says it doesn't take canceling shows lightly.

Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, by phone or over the Internet will get automatic refunds. Otherwise, refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Before canceling, Def Leppard had one the top 20 shows on tour, according to information from the trade publication Pollstar. The band was taking in nearly $700,000 a show.
