Hudson Woman in fake school bus tries to lure kids inside

Hudson school officials and authorities are warning parents that an unauthorized woman driving an unmarked yellow mini-bus has tried to pick up children at their regular school bus stop.

Superintendent Mary Bowen-Eggebraaten wrote a letter to parents Friday after students waiting for an elementary school bus that morning reported the incident.

They said a female driver with gray hair pulled up and told the students the regular bus had broken down.

Bowen-Eggebraaten said the students did not get on the bus and were safe.

The district says more police surveillance has been requested and officials are telling parents to make sure to notify their children's schools immediately if any unfamiliar adult attempts to pick their children up.
