UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar seriously ill

UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is still sick, weeks after withdrawing from his title defense match.

UFC president Dana White confirmed to The Associated Press on Sunday that Lesnar is in "rough shape." A report on Canadian sports network TSN's Web site says Lesnar collapsed in Canada.

White says he can't divulge details about what's wrong with Lesnar, 32, a native of South Dakota who wrestled for the University of Minnesota. But White says Lesnar's illness is serious and that he'll be out for a while.

Lesnar announced in October he was withdrawing from his upcoming title defense match due to an unspecified illness. That match, originally scheduled for Nov. 21, was pushed back to January. But TSN reports the fight has been postponed again.

Messages left with Lesnar's manager and agent were not immediately returned Sunday.
