Police find 200 marijuana plants in Duluth home

The St. Louis County sheriff's department has arrested a man and woman after allegedly finding over 200 marijuana plants growing in a Duluth home.

In a news release, the sheriff's office noted it executed a search of the home Tuesday evening and found a large, intricate growing operation in several rooms including plants in various stages of growth. Investigators estimated the marijuana was worth more than $80,000.

Arrested were a 57-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman. The department is looking to question another man who lives at the residence.

The department says there was also evidence of methamphetamine use.
