Two Minnesota residents have been killed and four others injured in a two-vehicle crash in southern Wisconsin.
According to the State Patrol, a 24-year-old woman was driving a Dodge Caravan south on I-39/90 near Newville Road in Rock County, when traffic slowed.
The State Patrol said she was unable to stop in a safe manner, lost control, crossed the median into the northbound lanes and struck the Ford Taurus driven by 25-year-old Jeffrey Albertini of Madison.
The Capital Times reported that two people in the van, 54-year-old Ruby Alexander and a 6-year-old boy, were killed. They were from Rochester, Minn.
Three others in the van had non-life threatening injuries as did Albertini.
