Mall of America to 'tweet' holiday parking info
Minnesotans headed to Bloomington's Mall of America as shopping days dwindle might be able to erase the time spent looking for a parking spot with Twitter updates from the mall.
The Mall of America Twitter account will tweet real-time traffic and parking updates between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. starting next Saturday through January 1. Mall shoppers who use Twitter are also encouraged to add their own parking tips and traffic updates to the online feed.
Updates will include the best ramp to park in at that particular time, most efficient freeway exits, even warnings if roads are slippery.
