A 43-year-old Hudson man has been charged in an October standoff that left his son and friends trapped in the house and terrified.
According to the complaint filed Wednesday in St. Croix County, Daniel Christenson came home from drinking at a bar on Oct. 17 and threatened to kill his teenage son, who was home with three friends. The complaint says Christenson shot up the house.
Christenson faces seven counts, including three first-degree attempted intentional homicide charges for allegedly firing shots at his son and law enforcement.
The standoff ended when Christenson was shot and subdued by police.
Christenson appeared in court Wednesday and was released on bail. His attorney, Earl Gray, says Christenson will plead not guilty.
