Lisa Zimmerman and her 8-year-old daughter Madison at the workforce center in Brooklyn Park. Zimmerman lost her job as a punch press operator at a manufacturing company in October. Now she's pursuing training as a medical administrative assistant, and came to the workforce center to work on her resume.
