A keynote address by Nekima Levy-Pounds. The program includes a historical Power Point exhibit, musical, dance, spoken-word and poetry performances, as well as awards and various elected officials speaking on the legacy of King and the hope of Obama.

Students, parents and families are invited to commemorate the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday by attending a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Fair on Jan. 18 from 3 -- 6 p.m. Representatives and alumni from over 20 colleges and universities will be in attendance.
