H1N1 flu activity remains low in Minnesota

H1N1 flu activity in Minnesota remains low and there were no deaths reported last week.

The Minnesota Health Department released its weekly updated on Wednesday.

It shows there were no school outbreaks from Jan. 17 to Jan. 23, no outbreaks in long-term care facilities and no new hospitalizations.

Since April last year, there have been just over 1,800 hospitalizations for H1N1. The department says 55 people have died of confirmed H1N1 flu infections in Minnesota.
