Study shows government support for media is shrinking

A new report from the USC Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism finds that government subsidies, which have been a long-running source of revenue even for commercial media, are on the decline. This comes just as the news industry is struggling to remain financially viable.

The authors of the report spoke at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
