Pawlenty visits northern MN

Gov. Tim Pawlenty is on the road again - but this time it's travel within Minnesota.

Pawlenty's schedule Monday includes a trip to Duluth and the Iron Range for a speech, judicial appointment and a tour of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The governor has supported state-backed borrowing for the facility.

Pawlenty will speak to the Hibbing members of the Kiwanis International club, one of the nation's largest nonprofit service organizations.

The trip takes the Republican governor into a DFL stronghold on the eve of the 2010 legislative session.

Pawlenty has been jetting across the nation as he sizes up a possible run for president in 2012.
