Police investigate 2 prep coaches in western Minn.

Police are investigating allegations by two female high school basketball players in west-central Minnesota against two male coaches, who have resigned.

Lake Park-Audubon school district officials tell The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead that two coaches resigned after being placed on administrative leave Friday.

Superintendent Dale Hogie identifies them as head coach Andrew Schwan and assistant coach Darrin Myhre. Schwan did not return a message left at his home Thursday. A phone number for Myhre could not be found.

Hogie declined to elaborate on the allegations, other than to say they allegedly occurred during an overnight stay in St. Cloud during Christmas break. The team played in a tournament in the St. Cloud area on Dec. 28 and 29.
