Gay rights supporters are rallying at the Capitol to push for gay marriage in Minnesota.
One of the state's largest gay rights groups is gathering spiritual leaders and activists in the Capitol rotunda Thursday in a show of support for same-sex marriage.
Minneapolis-based OutFront Minnesota is organizing the rally.
The rally takes place just a few hours before Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty gives his final State of the State address in the House chamber. The governor opposes gay marriage.
