Former Republican gubernatorial candidate David Hann is backing Rep. Marty Seifert for the state's top office.
Hann, a state senator who dropped out of the race last week, said Tuesday that Seifert can appeal to independent voters as well as Republicans to win the general election.
Seifert and Rep. Tom Emmer are the top two contenders for the Republican endorsement.
