Burglar makes off with Girl Scout cookies
Girl Scout cookies are hot items this time of year.
So hot, apparently, that a burglar swiped 407 boxes of the goodies from a Lakeland garage sometime Thursday.
With an average cost of $3.50 per box, the stolen goods have a street value over $1,400.
Washington County authorities are investigating Friday and seek the public's help in identifying the burglars.
