Darcy Pohland, a veteran reporter for WCCO-TV in the Twin Cities, is being remembered fondly by her colleagues today.

She was one of the few quadriplegic TV reporters in the country. A station spokesperson says Pohland's caregiver found her this morning in her Minneapolis home. She was 48.

A cause of death has not been released.

Pohland was a native of Mendota Heights, Minn. She worked as a reporter at Channel 4 for more than 20 years. Longtime WCCO anchor Don Shelby offered his reflections on Pohland's passing.
