Multi-car pileup with 20 vehicles in eastern Wis.

Foggy conditions may have contributed to a multi-car pileup involving more than 20 vehicles near Kaukauna.

WLUK-TV reports Friday that the accident occurred in Outagamie County on Highway 41 north, near Highway 55.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. and traffic was delayed for more than two hours due to the pileup. The Appleton Post-Crescent said a school bus was sent to the scene so uninjured motorists could keep warm while the accident site was cleaned up.

The newspaper quoted an Outagamie County sheriff's deputy as saying two people were injured but the extent of those injuries were not known. Messages left with the sheriff's department and the state patrol were not immediately returned.
