Woman seriously hurt in Faribault school bus crash

A Faribault school bus with children on board collided with a sport utility vehicle on Friday, seriously injuring one woman.

The Faribault Daily News reports three students on the bus suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital. The injuries were not life threatening.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the school bus broadsided the SUV at the intersection of Highways 60 and 21 around 3:20 p.m. Authorities are investigating.

The female driver of the SUV was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Her condition was not immediately available.
