Joel Kotkin, an expert on economic and social trends, is out with a new book about how the U.S. will evolve over the next four decades. It's titled, "The Next Hundred Million: America in 2050."
Kotkin was a featured guest at the Los Angeles Central Library as part of ALOUD, a series of free lectures, readings, conversations and live performances produced by the Library foundation of Los Angeles.
