The Minnesota Twins take on the Boston Red Sox in their first home opener at Target Field. In the second hour of the show, Midday features more guests from both the studio and the ballpark, including fans, the owner of the Minnesota Twins, and an expert on getting to and from the stadium.
The show also features highlights from the unveiling of the new Kirby Puckett statue. Twins radio announcer John Gordon, former Twin Rod Carew, President of Twins Sports Inc. Jerry Bell, and Kirby Puckett Jr. all speak during that ceremony.
