Gov. Pawlenty has another busy travel week

The governor is in New York City Monday for what his political spokesman calls meetings for his federal political action committee. He didn't offer any other details except to say Pawlenty is returning early Tuesday.

Pawlenty has two other out of state trips scheduled for this week. He's due to speak to The Lake County Republican Federation in Chicago on Friday night.

On Saturday, he'll travel to Iowa to speak to the Iowa Taxpayers' Day event. It's his second trip to Iowa since he announced last June that he wasn't seeking a third term.

Pawlenty said he won't decide his political future until early 2011. He said he's focused on supporting Republican candidates in the 2010 elections through his federal political action committee.

The PAC reported raising $566 thousand in the first three months of 2010.
