Clark has $600K for race in Minn.'s 6th District

Democrat Tarryl Clark started the month with $601,000 for her congressional campaign in Minnesota's 6th District.

Clark is one of two Democrats seeking to unseat Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Bachmann's bank balance topped $1.5 million, while Clark's primary rival, Dr. Maureen Reed, had $434,000 but plans to put $250,000 of her own money into the race.

The 6th District stretches across the northern Twin Cities suburbs and reaches west past St. Cloud. Bachmann is seeking a third term.
