Two dead in fiery Meeker County crash
Two people are dead as a result of a fiery crash between two semis and a car on state Highway 7 in Meeker County.
The Meeker County Sheriff's department says two semis collided east of the town of Cosmos just before 7:30 Thursday morning when one of the semis lost control. One of the semis struck the car, and caught fire, causing extensive damage to the truck.
The driver of that semi and a passenger in the car were both killed. The driver of the car was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center. The driver of the other semi was not injured.
The names of the people involved have not been released.
