Benefit set for St. Cloud Clara's House

Minnesota author Marya Hornbacher speaks Tuesday at a benefit for Clara's House, a St. Cloud clinic for adolescents with mental health problems.

Hornbacher has written books about her struggles with anorexia, bulimia and dipolar disorder.

The benefit, called "Stickin' to It," begins at 6 p.m. at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School in Sauk Rapids. There also will be entertainment from young people from Clara's House and the Sauk Rapids-Sartell Drumline. A reception and book-signing will follow.

Clara's House provides intensive daytime outpatient services for children and adolescents dealing with chemical dependency or mental illness.
