IP looking for opening between DFL and GOP

Tom Horner officially kicks off his campaign for governor today. Horner will be a leading contender for the Independence Party endorsement when that party holds its statewide convention on Saturday. Horner recently left the Republican Party where he was a longtime activist. MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with University of Minnesota political science professor Larry Jacobs about the potential role of the Independence Party in the 2010 election.
