Embattled former auto mogul Denny Hecker again asked a court to be able to spend time at his Crosslake home and his former bankruptcy attorney was questioned by the bankruptcy trustee.
The 57-year-old Hecker once owned a large network of car dealerships in the Twin Cities. He filed for bankruptcy in June, owing $767 million. He also faces 25 criminal counts of fraud, including bankruptcy fraud. He has denied wrongdoing.
Hecker has twice been ordered by a judge to stay in Medina. The Star Tribune reports his vacation properties in Crosslake are valued at nearly $9 million. Hecker has worn a GPS-location detection bracelet since February.
KSTP-TV reports that former attorney Bill Skolnick's deposition focused on fees and how much he was paid.
