Latest Pawlenty national exposure is on home turf

Prospective presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty is getting some national exposure without having to leave home.

Minnesota's Republican governor is the featured guest Thursday as NBC's "Meet the Press" goes on the road. The public affairs show will be taping the appearance at the University of Minnesota and excerpts are expected to be aired on the Sunday show.

As he gets ready to leave office, Pawlenty has been traveling the country ahead of what many see as a likely 2012 run for the White House.

In February, he appeared on "Meet the Press" for a solo interview from the show's Washington studio.
