Burglar hits Entenza campaign office

Laptop computers, a video recorder and three cameras were stolen in a break-in this week at DFL gubernatorial candidate Matt Entenza's campaign office in St. Paul.

Police say someone apparently pried the door open and grabbed the gear sometime between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

Sgt. Paul Schnell says the stolen items are valued at about $3,000.

Police say there are no signs the break-in was campaign-related.

Entenza is one of three main DFL candidates vying for the party's nomination in the Aug. 10 primary.
