The Interstate 94 Lowry Tunnel in Minneapolis is closing in both directions for seven hours on Monday and Tuesday nights so that crews can clean and wash it.

The tunnel on the west side of Minneapolis will close at 10 p.m. both nights and re-open at 5 a.m. the following morning. Crews will wash the westbound side the first night and the eastbound side the second night, but the tunnel will be entirely closed both nights.

Motorists will be detoured to the prohibited vehicle route.
