3 missing hikers found safe in NE Minn.
Three hikers are safe after spending the night without camping gear in the wilds of northeastern Minnesota.
St. Louis County Undersheriff David Phillips says the three men from the Twin Cities were camping north of Lake Vermilion when they decided to hike to another lake Thursday.
Phillips says the men, 26-year-old twins and a 29-year-old all from the Twin Cities, wore light clothing and had no camping gear, compass, cell phone or GPS device when they went on a 1-mile walk.
A fourth camper who stayed behind at the campground called 911 when the others didn't return.

A rescue squad searched for the men, but two fishermen found them Friday afternoon on Lake Oriniack.
The undersheriff says the hikers are in "great" condition but probably had a rough night because of heavy rain and mosquitoes.
"No one was hurt, no hypothermia, everybody's OK. I imagine they're going to have some stories with the bad weather, and then the mosquitoes, which I can only imagine were fierce," he said. "But we're glad that this came to a good resolution."
