A 35-year-old man has been killed in a construction accident in Rochester.
Rochester police say the victim had been operating a soil compactor construction vehicle when one of the wheels went down a partial embankment and rolled, throwing the victim under the vehicle.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday near Deerhaven Lane Northeast and County Road 22. Workers extricated him before medical personnel arrived.
He died at the scene. His identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
