If you wanted to get around the Twin Cities in the first half of the last century, there's a good chance you would have chosen a streetcar as your mode of transportation.

In this 1972 report, Brenda Ueland recalls the days when streetcars were king. Ueland was the first female reporter for the Minneapolis Tribune. She later wrote for a variety of publications and authored books. She died in 1985.
