Mille Lacs tribal police ID body as that of missing man
Tribal police have confirmed that a body found on the Mille Lacs Reservation is a 19-year-old man who had been missing for a week.
Authorities said in a news release that the man is William Anthony Nickaboine, 19.
Nickaboine was last seen July 17 on the Mille Lacs Reservation in Vineland. A community search party found his body late Friday night on Timber Trail Road in Onamia.
Authorities on Saturday arrested two suspects they believe were involved in the incident. Both are in the Mille Lacs County jail awaiting formal charges.
