A big welcome home is planned for Minnesota troops who recently returned from Iraq.
The entire 1st Battalion 151st Field Artillery Unit will have a homecoming ceremony and celebration Friday night in Montevideo.
More than 600 soldiers from the Montevideo-based unit returned from Iraq in early April.
Gov. Tim Pawlenty, first lady Mary Pawlenty and Minnesota National Guard leader Maj. Gen. Larry Shellito are scheduled to speak at the event.
