Hart Ski Corp. has moved its headquarters from Wayzata, Minn., to Ogden, Utah.
Hart, the official freestyle ski provider for the U.S. Ski Team, announced the move Tuesday.
Hart CEO Chris Farni says the company was impressed by Ogden's business development efforts, which have helped lure several other companies in the ski industry to the city.
Mayor Matthew Godfrey says Hart's move from Wayzata, Minn., should bring jobs to Ogden as the 55-year-old company grows in its new headquarters and distribution center. Godfrey says Hart hopes to eventually be manufacturing skis in Ogden. (Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
