The wife of a man shot to death in his home in Lake Crystal has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
The Free Press of Mankato reports 33-year-old Jennifer Lee Nibbe was arrested Friday afternoon and charged in Blue Earth County District Court.
She was in the county jail Friday evening and unavailable for comment.
On Aug. 31, she frantically called 911 to report an intruder wearing a nylon cover on his head shot and killed 26-year-old husband, James Nibbe.

The couple's 16-year-old son was also home at the time of the shooting.
