Children found bound in St. Cloud now in protective custody
Police say the two young children found bound by their hands and feet in a St. Cloud house have been place in protective custody.
The mother of the 2-year-old children has been charged with two counts of malicious punishment of a child.
St. Cloud Police Sgt. Martin Sayre said Friday the children were turned over to Stearns County social services.
Police say officers went to the home Monday while investigating a report of child neglect and found the children in separate bedrooms.
Bail for Maimuna Mohamed Mohamud has been set at $5,000.
