Authorities say a Minnesota man who called his wife days ago saying he'd been kidnapped had withdrawn $1,000 from a bank shortly before he disappeared.
Investigators with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office say Monday that it appears 29-year-old Matthew Anderson was alone when he withdrew the cash on Friday afternoon.
About a half-hour later, Anderson was seen at the Roseville apartment complex where he worked. Later that night he called his wife and said he'd been kidnapped.
His van was found Sunday in Chicago, but there has been no sign of Anderson.
Authorities are still investigating.
Anderson is married and has a 1-year-old daughter.
